The Words That Go With The Pictures.

FOR ACTORS

Your headshot is usually the first thing an agent or casting agent will see of you, so it’s important that your photo not only looks like you, but also looks professional. That’s where I come in.

While there are many great photographers about, we all have our own way of working. Offers and inclusions also vary from person to person. So, to make deciding whether you want me to take your headshots a little easier, here’s some info on what to expect from your shoot.

What you get:
• Two looks: this could be different tops, make-up styles, or complete outfit changes.
• Time: we shoot for about 1 hour, after any hair and make-up is done. This may involve studio and outdoor locations.
• Final prints: you get four final shots that have been re-touched and ready for print or email/website use, all delivered on disc.

First, it’s best to decide if you want New York Legit or LA-style headshots. Both are widely used in the entertainment industry (although the latter is becoming more popular), so it comes down to personal preference and what your agent approves of. New York Legit is a traditional-style, black and white headshot. While LA-style are taken outdoors, using natural light and usually include more of the body. They’re also in colour.

Next, we’ll chat about the looks you want, any hair or make-up requirements (even for men), and decide on a location. After that, we book a date and shoot!

Note: a hair and make-up artist can be provided at extra cost.

Of course, I can also tailor a shoot specifically for your needs. For standard costs or to talk about other options, just email me.
